Oh my god, I finished something!!

An elf nurse. Some body asked me to do a version of their character (which they supplied an MSPaint portrait of), and after spending probably upwards of 6 hours on it, I finished it. I might go back and add some texture with Painter, but I doubt it. Done entirely in Paintool SAI, aside from the cross, which was outline in Illustrator.

Morning requests

A raptor-like lizardman monk dressed like Raiden from Mortal Kombat, holding some sort of japanese priest's staff.
Close to 40 minutes. And too lazy to do decent hands or any feet.
"A scholarly orc, holding a tome and wearing glasses and robes"
About 20 minutes in Paint Tool SAI.

These requests are starting to get boring, but on the plus side, I'm a lot more confident in my ability to color.

Request time

"a warforged druid, all wrapped in leaves, wearing makeshift antlers and angry, why is he so angry". Took about 30 minutes.

"A sexy female Frankenstein's monster nun armed with a revolver and a crusader's sword fighting a werewolf vampire mummy." This was an exercise. Took nearly 40 minutes.
A Beholder Ninja. Took less than 10 minutes in Paint Tool SAI.

I was playing a lot of Fallout 3

This was a character blueprint I was working on. Maybe for a comic? I dunno. It was a few months ago.

I can still draw

Apparently, I still have it in me. It's been a while...

Baticus the sad injured bat is by Michelle, not me.

I got a gig!

Doing some illustrations for a new Pen & Paper RPG. Here's the idea I've been working on for one of the character races, a dark skinned, white haired subterranean people. This has since been scrapped while I work up something with a better foundation. This took me the better part of 4 hours. It started as a sketch in Paint Tool SAI, then clean linework was done in Illustrator, then back to SAI to start doing the values. It's not great, but still not bad for my first serious attempt at a painting (IMO).
